Migration Safari to Kenya and Tanzania Safari 11 Nights 12 Days June, July and August

Day 01: Nairobi:
Arrival in Nairobi at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, met by our Customer Relations Officer and transfer to the Hotel. Balance of the day at leisure for relaxation or optional activities in the City. 19:30 hrs welcome Kenya dinner at the Nyama Choma Ranch Restaurant in Safari Park with live entertainment from safari cats.
Overnight at Safari Park Hotel.

Day 02: Nairobi - Samburu:
Early breakfast at the Hotel. This morning, at 07:00 hrs, commence safari to the Samburu National Reserves, driving through the agricultural rich central Kenya highlands with coffee, pineable and tea plantations to arrive in Samburu National Reserve in time for lunch at the Camp.
Late afternoon game viewing drive in the semi arid reserves of Samburu National Reserve.
Dinner and overnight Elephant Bedroom Camp.

Day 03: Samburu:
Full day in the Reserve with the morning and afternoon game viewing drives in the Samburu National Reserves.
All meals and overnight Elephant Bedroom Camp.

Day 04: Samburu - Fly Maasai Mara:
Early Breakfast at the Lodge, and transfer to the Samburu Airstrip for a scheduled flight Samburu/Maasai Mara
09:30 /11:00 hrs. On arrival in Maasai Mara airstrip, met and transfer to the Sarova Mara Tented Camp.
Lunch at the Camp. Afternoon game viewing drive in Maasai Mara Nat
Balance of the afternoon and night game viewing from the precints of the Lodge National Reserve.
Dinner and overnight at the Sarova Mara Tented Camp.

Days 05 & 06: Maasai Mara:
Full days in Maasai Mara National Reserve with a morning and late afternoon game viewing drives.
The Maasai Mara extends all the way to the neighboring Serengeti reserve in Tanzania. Its famous for the Big five and the wildebeests migration which is an extra-ordinary phenomenon taking place yearly at around the same time. All meals and overnight Sarova Mara Tented Camp.

Day 07: Maasai Mara – Fly Nairobi - Flt Kilimanjaro:
Morning game viewing drive. Breakfast at the Camp and transfer to the airstrip for the scheduled flight Maasai Mara/Nairobi (Wilson Airport) 11:00/12:15 hrs. On arrival in Nairobi, connect onto the onward scheduled flight Nairobi (Wilson Airport) /Kilimanjaro 12:40/13:35 hrs. On arrival in Kilimanjaro Airport, over to the Tanzania operator
Arrive to Arusha in the evening from Nairobi . You will be transferred to your lodge.

Day 8 Tarangire National Park
After breakfast picked from your hotel, drive to southwest through the Masai Steppe to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania's fourth largest for a full day game drive. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing domestic flights the animals that feed beneath them. Keep your eyes peeled near Tarangire's riverbanks looking for lion, leopard, giraffe, gerenuk, reedbuck, and even the rare fringe-eared oryx.

Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast drive and descend into Ngorongoro Crater. The crater is a geological marvel boasting several vegetation zones from lakes to forest to savannah. It is home to about 30,000 animals, despite its tiny size of only 10 miles across. Stop at one of the Maasai village/Bomas for cultural visit and traditional dances. Here you will be guided by a Maasai guide who will inform you Maasai traditions and cultures.

Day 10: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, leave Ngorongoro highlands for Central Serengeti, via Olduvai Gorge, the site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries. Their findings include some of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains. Continue your journey into the heart of Tanzania by heading west, toward the Serengeti Plains. Enjoy the spectacular wildlife viewing in Central Serengeti.

Day 11: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast enjoy another full day game drive in Serengeti. Home to literally hundreds of thousands of hoofed animals, the Serengeti is a pristine and unique sanctuary that will give you a glimpse into “the world as it was in the beginning.” Relish the vastness of the Serengeti, "the land that flows on forever," along with some of the best game-viewing that Africa has to offer.

Day 12: Arusha/Depart
After breakfast drive to the nearby airstrip for your flight to Arusha. On arrival, you will be picked from Arusha airport to Mount Meru Hotel for your farewell lunch.
