8 Days Kenya Safari - Maasai Mara, Samburu and Lake Nakuru- Luxury Safari

Kenya is home to the original safari holiday and is still the one of the most famous popular destinations for safaris in the world.Kenya is home to Masai Mara National Park, Amboseli National Park and Lake Nakuru (home to Flamingoes, White and BlackRhinos) and Mt. Kenya. Kenya is also known for Migration Safari. Migration Safari takes place from Mid June to October. The animals are on the Kenya Side. From December to March animal’s migration move down to Tanzania.
Day 1: NAIROBI
Arrival in Nairobi at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, met by our Customer Relations Officer and transfer to the Nairobi hotel. Balance of the day at leisure for relaxation or optional activities in the City.
19:00 hrs transfer to the Carnivore Restaurant for a welcome Kenya dinner.
Overnight at FAIRMONT NORFOLK HOTEL (Bed & Breakfast):
 

Day 2: : NAIROBI - SAMBURU/SHABA
Early breakfast at the Hotel. This morning, at 07:00 hrs, commence safari to the Samburu/Buffalo Springs/Shaba National Reserves, driving through the agricultural rih cenytra Kenya highlands with coffee, pineable and tea plantations to arrive in Shaba National Reserve in time for lunch.
Late afternoon game viewing drive in the semi arid reserves of Shaba/Buffallo Springs National Reserve.
Dinner and overnight SAROVA SHABA LODGE.


Day 3: SAMBURU/SHABA
Full day in the Reserves with the morning and afternoon game viewing drives in the Shaba/Buffallo springs National Reserves. Dinner and overnight SAROVA SHABA LODGE.

Day 4: SAMBURU/SHABA - ABERDARES
Breakfast at the Lodge, after which drive to the Abedares area to arrive for lunch at the Aberdares Country Club.
Afternoon transfer on hotel vehicle to the Ark Lodge in the heart of Aberdares National Park.
Balance of the afternoon and night game viewing from the precints of the Lodge.
Dinner and overnight THE ARK LODGE.


Day 5: ABERDARES - LAKE NAKURU
Early breakfast at the Camp, thereafter depart for the Lake Nakuru National Park in the great Rift valley, with a brief stop over at the Nyahururu to catch a glimpse of the thompson falls, the highest water fall in Kenya. Lunch at the Lodge in Lake Nakuru National Park. Afternoon game viewing and bird watching drive in Lake Nakuru National Park the home of millions of Flamingoes and pelicans dotting the shores of the lake. The white rhino, the black rhino together with the Rothschild giraffe are some of the rare animal species that are quite common in this park.

Dinner and overnight SAROVA LION HILLS LODGE.

Day 6: LAKE NAKURU– MAASAI MARA
Breakfast at the Lodge, this morning proceed to the world famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, considered as one of the World’s wonders The Maasai Mara extends all the way to the neighboring Serengeti reserve in Tanzania. Its famous for the Big five and the wildebeests migration which is an extra-ordinary phenomenon taking place yearly at around the same time. Lunch at the Lodge. Late afternoon game viewing drives.

Dinner and overnight MARA SERENA LODGE.

Day 07: MAASAI MARA:
Full day in the Maasai Mara National Reserve with a morning and late afternoon game viewing drives to explore the fluorishing  wildlife species that abound in this reserve. Optional full day game viewing drive with your picnic lunches.
Dinners and overnights  MARA SERENA LODGE.

Day 08: MAASAI MARA – NAIROBI & DEPARTURE:
After breakfast at the Lodge, embark on a return drive to Nairobi. On arrival in Nairobi, drop off at the Hotel
(use of room and Lunch NOT included).  At a later hour, transfer to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your scheduled International Departure flight (check in time 03 hours ahead of your international departure flight time).
