Your lodge is located near the famous Chobe National Park. This park is located in the North Eastern corner of Botswana where four great African countries converge: Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and Namibia. Your safari experience at Chobe allows you to get up close and personal with nature. Photographic opportunities abound, sunset moments are plentiful and with the more than 45 000 elephant that reside within the Chobe National Park, you are guaranteed to bank a lasting memory or two.

Your two days’ safari experience at Chobe will include activities both in the morning and in the afternoon. Some are by 4x4 safari vehicle, others by boat along the Chobe River. The Chobe National Park, which is the second largest national park in Botswana and covers 10,566 square km, has one othe greatest concentrations of game found onAfrican continent. Its uniqueness in the abundance of wildlife and the true African nature of the region, offers a safari experience of a lifetime. A major feature of Chobe National Park is its elephant population currently estimated at around 120,000.
The Chobe elephant are migratory, making seasonal movements of up to 200 km from the Chobe and Linyanti rivers, where they concentrate in the dry season, to the pans in the southeast of the park, which they disperse in the rains. Chobe also has some of the finest game viewing in Africa. It is notable for huge herds of buffalo and zebras, lechwe, Chobe bushbuck and puku antelope. Where there are buffalo, lions are never far away and there is a good chance of seeing large prides who laze around in the shade all day and only yawn themselves awake at dusk. Hyena and leopard also hunt at night while cheetah are diurnal predators.
African fish eagles are common and their distinctive cry is as evocative of the African wilderness as the roaof the lion. In the middle of the day, relax at your lodge or at the poolside. Optional walks are also offered. Enjoy a late afternoon game drive after a day of relaxation followed by a scrumptious dinner.
