On arrival at Maun Airport, you will be met by our representative who will introduce you to your piloand show you to your light aircraft for your first flight. Your first destination is Nxai Pan. Nxai Pan National Park lies just north of the Maun-Nata roaand adjoins Makgadikgadi Pans National Park on its northern border. The camp is situated in the tree line with 8 purpose built desert tents. All of the 8 tents have private viewing decks, inside anoutside showers and fans. The main area has a swimming pool,curio shop and library.

Nxai pan is well known for its huge springbokpopulation and once the rains have started, gemsbok, elephant and zebras migrate to region. At this time zebra’s come in their thousands to drop their young at Nxai Pan. Extraordinarily large herds of giraffe’s can bseen with up to 30 in a group. These large herds of zebras, springbok, and wildebeest attract many predators – lion, cheetah, jackal and both spotted and the elusive brown hyenas well as the endangered wild dog and the secretive leopard. Other activities you can do whilst here include a visit to Baines Baobab’s game drive, nature walks and star gazing.

On your morning of departure after a game activity and breakfast – you will be transferred to the airstrip to continue on your journey bylight aircraft to Xakanaxa Camp located in the Moremi Game Reserve. The Moremi Reserve is rated as one of Africa’s finest game-viewing areas, offering sanctuary to abundant herds of elephant, sable, giraffe, tsessebe, lechwe, wildebeest,impala and waterbuck. Lion, leopard,cheetach,wild dog and hyena complete the picture
The stylish main buildings extend over the Khwai River and are set on raised platforms to maximize the views over the surrounding lagoons and islands. Constructed of local timber, reed and thatch they comprise of an elegant lounge containing a small but comprehensive library,dining room, expansive sundeck, plunge pool and sala with day bed as well as a fire-deck set under giant Jackalberry trees.

| Day 4: |
Daily camp activities follow a rhythmic pattern in harmony with nature– generally guests enjoy a light breakfast of coffee, tea, fruit juices, cereals, muffins and fresh fruit just before dawn and then set off on extensive safari drives, boat or mokoro outings. Upon returning to camp three or four hours later, its time for a scrumptious brunch, including a selection of breakfast and lunch dishes. A siesta is followed by high tea before guests set off again on a safari activity that returns to camp approximately half an hour after sunset. A chance to freshen up is followed by pre-dinner cocktails and snacks, dinner and coffee and liqueurs on the fire-deck.

After your morning activity on your last day you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight to Kwara. Kwara camp adjoins the Moremi Game Reserve but as Kwara concession is private, the animals move freely but other tourists don’t – so you have the Delta experience as good as it can get.

Two days at Kwara Camp. The water experience, either fishing, on a mekoro or exploring the channels and rivers by boat, is spectacular. Kwara also offers game drives both off road and at night in their private traverse area. This offers the best all-year round Delta experience.
